Woot- Woot! This calls for a celebration! We have finally had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL Spring weekend in NYC! To kick off this exciting season, we decided it was the perfect weekend to explore one of our favorite spots in the city...Central Park! Take a look at the outfits we decided to sport during our leisurely, and "sisterly" (whatever that means...ha), day strolling through Central Park....

NYC Stlye- Sophie and Charlotte in Central Park

I love to wear all black - and I love to wear all black all zee time - but I also love to wear color, so I especially love to add colorful pieces to all black looks. On our stroll through Central Park, I decided to do just that... I wore an all black base outfit and added a color block coat to spice up the look and to (simultaneously) combine my love for all black outfits and colorful pieces.

As for the all black look - I wore my light Zara turtleneck sweater paired with my favorite pair of faux- leather biker trousers with zippers on the front and ankles. I absolutely ADORE these pants and won't lie, get compliments from people every time I wear them. I finished off this black sleek look with my Coach Coleen ankle booties - one of my favorite pair of shoes in my closet. I love the Coach signature turnlock detail on these boots- it just gives them an extra somethin' somethin' and make them stand out from your typical black ankle bootie.

As for the colorful piece to finish off my look -  I wore my beautiful wool BCBG Max Azria Color Block Coat with leather sleeves. On a weekend like this past was, this coat is an ideal style option - it provides the perfect blend of unique colors, representing the transition from Winter to Spring that we are currently going through. While the coat may look heavy, it is actually extremely light and airy - something I love about it - this made it so that I was able to sport it this weekend and felt 100% comfortable in the weather conditions while doing so.

It was sunny over the weekend, so I couldn't stroll through the park without a pair of shades. I decided to rock my beautiful Céline sunglasses with a brown square framed shape. These are one of the most cherished pairs of sunglasses that I own - to the extent that I RARELY wear them... only out of fear that I will lose or damage such a beautiful thing. These sunglasses can make anyone look elegant in any outfit at ANY time, plus they are super durable and made with great quality. When wearing these glasses, you simply can't go wrong. They're the perfect way to finish off my look to make it an effortless, yet sophisticated, one for a stroll through Central Park with my #1 CHICA, my sistaaaaa <3

Surprise, surprise! Just like my sis, I love the clean, sleek, all black look too. Unlike her, however, I decided to keep my look more neutral - as opposed to adding a pop of color. I went with an almost entirely black outfit - adding only a simple grey sweater and some eccentric details to my pieces, such as fun studs and designs. By eliminating any color from my outfits, I emphasized a sophisticated and sleek look. I wore a black reversible Mongolian fur vest by Joseph. I love this vest and it is great to wear in ANY season!!

Since the weekend temps were so nice I wore a thin lightweight Splendid cotton turtleneck with a pair of my Vince leather leggings. The piece that adds the real pizazz to my outfit is my stylish Eugenia Kim hat with studded details. No matter the season - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Eugenia Kim hats. They are worth the splurge because, unlike other hats, they are made very well and are very sturdy - a great way to finish off any look. Finally....how UNREAL are my gorgeous black Saint Laurent studded booties. I found these beauties while shopping last year in Paris during my semester abroad in London. I couldn’t resist, so I bought them and have worn them over and over with a variety of different outfits ever since! They look cute with a skirt or a dress or even paired casually with boyfriend jeans and a t-shirt. With so many different ways to style them, you'll be sure to be seeing these again on me :)
