SHOWIN' SOME SHOULDER
Off the shoulder and shoulder revealing pieces have been one of the most popular trends this Summer 2016. And how could this trend not be loved by all? These pieces can be dressed down, or dressed up- warn as a cover up to the beach, or an outfit to go out in, or for a day shopping around NYC. We have been loving this trend all Summer long and decided to dedicate this post to this amazing trend that has made this Summer a particularly trendy one 8-)
See how we paired different off the shoulder, or shoulder baring pieces in different ways on a scorching hot day just chillin' in an NYC park.
I'm a huge fan of sporting colors and patterns in the Summer so that's exactly what I did with this look making my Bec and Bridge beautifully patterned silk pants the busiest part of my outfit making the top to wear it with any easy choice. I paired the pants with a simple ivory colored shoulderless piece, my Factory 'Rory' off-the-shoulder crop top, just the length that is needed to go with the high waisted style of the pants. To dress up my look while still keeping it casual, I wore my platform wedge Stuart Weitzman 'The Romanesque' sandals - totally obsessed with these shoes this Summer, you can't tell with the outfit I'm wearing but they lace up your leg, SOO CUTE. Pairing with my off white simple top, I went with the color and wore my white Saint Laurent mirror sunglasses and carried my ivory colored studded Coach 'Dinky' crossbody bag. I finished off my look with some jewelry pieces to spunk it up wearing my fave gold Dannijo 'Luke' band ring with my fave gold Vita Fede original titan bracelet and topped it off with a pair of fun and colorful dangly earrings.
I wanted my beautiful tassel circle Mercedes Salazar circle earrings to be the main focus of my outfit so I paired them with simple and Summery pieces that would really make them pop out. These earrings are absolutely stunning but definitely have a lot going on so I paired them with a lightly patterned, almost solid color looking, navy colored off-the-shoulder Reformation top tucked into a pair of short and simple Blank denim shorts. I added some height to my look in my high platformed Michael Kors sandals and made the look especially summery with the cutest NANNACAY straw box bag with little red pom poms and red stripes on it, one of my favorite finds this Summer - it reminds me of going to the beach or to a picnic :) I love this little clutch and it was the perfect accessory to top off my summery (and shoulder revealing) look.
