THE BANDANA PRINT

One of our favorite prints of all time, that has luckily come back into style this season, is the bandana print. Bandanas, or any bandana printed items/clothing, have been all the rage this summer and we've been loving it! Today's post is dedicated to our love for this bandana print trend as we show off two different bandana printed looks on a gorgeous day strolling around the adorable town of Southampton :)

SOPHIE'S LOOK:

I chose to go with a very edgy, yet casual and comfortable, look with a beautifully embellished AND studded bandana around my neck for a day of window shopping in Southampton. This bandana is especially awesome to me because of its intricate design and elaborate details, like the black beaded fringe, the detailed rose flower at the tip of the bandana, and the stud embellishments above the flower design. I paired this eye-turning piece with a somewhat simple look - although you could slay, slightly edgy, in my mesh polkadot bodysuit from Nasty Gal. I love the spunk that this bodysuit adds to the entire look and it made the look feel sexy while also feeling casual and perfect for the day. I tucked this cute, flirty bodysuit into one of my current favorite pairs of jeans, my Frame Denim high waisted 'Soho' flared denim trousers and added one extra flair to my outfit by wearing my Komono 'Vivien' round sunglasses - these have been my go-to sunglasses of Summer 2016, hands down. And just like that...my 'bandana' look is complete, of course, my very own and unique take of the 'bandana' look ;)

CHARLOTTE'S LOOK:

Instead of going with a plain old bandana around the neck look, I decided to make my bandana print look one that actually incorporated bandana print in my clothing, via the print of my Tularose 'Alexa' bandana print top. I love bandana printed anything and I especially love how this top is not only bandana printed but also has an off-the-shoulder design - two of my favorite trends of the season mixed into one top, perfection :) To add a little more bandana print to my look, without making it look like bandana overload, I wore my white Donni Charm bandana around my neck, which worked perfectly with the white design of my red top and also covered the part of my neck that my off the shoulder top left bare. I felt like I had to go with something denim for the bottom half of my outfit so I wore my Rag & Bone 'Mini Santa Cruz' denim light button up skirt with dark patches and finished off my look with two simple accessories, my Ray-Ban gold round metal frame sunglasses and my Castañer 'Carina' canvas wedge sandals. This was the perfect 'bandana' look to rock on a day like this in the Hamptons and I think it contrasted & complimented perfectly with Soph's look.
