ALWAYS LOOK BOTH WAYS

When walking across Park Avenue in New York City there are two general rules one should follow:

1. Always look both ways

2. Hold hands [if] with others, especially if they're your sissy :)

We stuck to this protocol while roaming around Park Avenue in this featured look. Who knew yellow taxis could serve as such a cute backdrop!? Read below to find out the outfits we chose to wear and why...

SOPHIE'S LOOK:

I have been all about the high-waisted and crop top look for a long, long time... especially during this past year. That being said, I went with one of my many favorite high-waisted/crop mash ups when the strolling the Park Ave. streets- my cropped Current/Elliott checkered sweater (in a variety of neural/dark tones) and my 7 For All Mankind high-waisted button jeans...the BEST high-waisted jeans in my closet <3 Deflecting the suns from my eyes are a pair of my grey/metal colored Komono 'Vivien' sunglasses. I finished off my look with a pair of taupe colored Rag & Bone 'Thompson' suede booties - these booties give off a slightly cowboyish feel vibe, giving them some flair. These boots paired perfectly with the neutral tones in my sweater and the simplicity of my jeans.

CHARLOTTE'S LOOK:

I've been obsessing over the all denim everything lately. For our Park Avenue excursion, I decided to rock my Rachel Comey denim top that I absolutely adore because it is so, so versatile - and yes...it's a turtleneck...clearly, I love turtlenecks a whole lot! <3 I paired my denim top with a pair of Current/Elliott patchwork jeans. Thanks to the patchwork details, these jeans have amazing swag and are one of my favorites. This fashion season, mules have been a total must have for the feet. Going along with this trend, and keeping my outfit chic, I wore my black leather mules. To add some black to my all denim theme, I wore my 'B-Low The Belt' belt with a silver buckle hoisted around my waist and my black Linda Farrow rectangular glasses. Then, I threw on my black wool Zara coat, with a contrast grey collar, and added more patchwork to my look with my Coach Shadow bag, pieced together with different blocks of leather. Unfortunately, my featured Coach Shadow bag is no longer available... BUT... Coach came out with one just like as part of their most recent 1941 Collection!! - check out the [very similar] Coach Patchwork Saddle bag

...Hopefully this will be THE LAST POST of the season where you will be seeing us wearing sweaters and/or coats. Motto from here on out: either legs or arms must be exposed at all times. It's mid-May.... let's hope the weather decides to FINALLY cooperate!!!
